Our work
Curves are the hard part.
Circles, radius edges, walls that follow the grade. Anybody can pour a rectangle — it's the curved work where you can tell who built it.

A pool deck on the side of a hill
Outcropping wall to hold the grade, then the whole deck poured around the pool with a radius edge and a curved walk running back to the house. Every one of those curves is hand-formed and hand-finished — you cannot screed a circle off a straightedge.

The old boulder wall was coming apart and the hill was moving with it. We tore it out, put drainage stone behind it, and rebuilt with quarried limestone outcropping. Bigger stone, set deeper, and somewhere for the water to go.

The old timber walls around the pool had rotted out and the grade behind them was going with them. We modeled the whole thing first so the owners could see the step layout and the wall line before anybody dug, then rebuilt it in quarried limestone outcropping.

Multi-family courtyard
The timbers had rotted out
The old timber wall had gone soft and was leaning out over a walkway people use every day. The whole thing came out. We rebuilt it in engineered block with tiered beds, drainage behind it, and handrails that meet code.

Blue Disposal is ours. Demo and spoils go straight into our own roll-off — nothing for you to rent, and no waiting on a rental company to drop one off or come get it.

A patio is only as good as what's under it. Wisconsin ground freezes, lifts, and settles every year. Whether a surface still sits flat in ten years or starts rocking by the third spring comes down almost entirely to the base — how deep it was dug, what went back in, and how well it drains.
So that's where the time goes. Digging to the right depth, compacting the aggregate in lifts, putting drainage where the water actually runs. It's the least interesting part of the job, and it's the part that decides whether the rest of it holds.
